Landscaping in Lake Buena Vista, Explained Before We Start

We take care of lawns, beds, irrigation, sod, hardscapes and trees for homeowners in Lake Buena Vista, Celebration and Hunters Creek. Before any work begins, we walk your yard with you, show you what we see and explain each option in plain words so you can choose what makes sense for your home.

  • Free on-site walkthrough
  • Every option laid out
  • Written estimate first
  • Cleanup after every visit

A Family Business That Explains Its Work

Too many homeowners end up paying for work they don't fully understand. A new irrigation controller, a load of mulch, a tree removal. Often nobody told them why, or whether a cheaper option would have done the job.

So we do it differently. We explain what's going on in your yard, what your choices are and what each one means a year from now. In Central Florida, where summer rain and sandy soil test every lawn and bed, that kind of honest advice saves money.

You'll talk to the people who do the work, and you'll always know what we're doing at your home and why.

Landscaping Services for Your Home

We are a family-owned crew, business licensed and fully insured, and we handle the whole yard: lawn care, landscape design, mulch and beds, irrigation, sod installation and hardscape installation. We also do tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, bamboo removal, seasonal cleanup and property cleanup. Pick one job or several, and we will show you how they fit together.

  • Landscaper in a green shirt and cap points out new curved paver-edged beds and a stone walkway to a homeowner in front of a stucco Florida home

    Landscape Design

We plan beds, plants, lawn and paths around your sun, soil and drainage, then explain every choice so you know what goes in and why.

  • Mulch and Beds

We weed, edge and re-mulch your planting beds, and we explain the difference between pine straw, bark and other mulches so you can pick what suits your yard.

  • Irrigation

Sprinkler repair, controller setup, drip lines and new zones, with a zone-by-zone check that shows you exactly where your water is going.

  • Seasonal Cleanup

We clear leaves, weeds and storm debris, cut back tired plants and haul it all away so your yard starts each season clean.

  • Sod Installation

New sod laid on properly prepared soil, with the right grass for your sun and shade and a watering plan you can actually follow.

  • Hardscape Installation

Paver patios, walkways, borders and low walls built on a properly compacted base, with each material choice explained before you decide.

  • Tree Trimming and Removal

Pruning that keeps trees healthy and clear of your roof, plus careful removal when a tree is dead, failing or in the wrong spot.

  • Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

Palm trimming that removes dead fronds, seed stalks and loose boots without over-cutting, plus careful removal when a palm is diseased or failing.

  • Stump Grinding

We grind leftover stumps below ground level, clear or reuse the chips and leave the spot ready for soil, sod or a new planting bed.

  • Bamboo Removal

We cut, dig and haul away bamboo, then show you whether yours is a running or clumping type and what it takes to keep it from coming back.

  • Property Cleanup

We cut back overgrowth, pull vines and weeds, and haul off brush and yard debris so a neglected yard becomes usable again.

Why Homeowners Call Us

Most people don't want a lecture on turfgrass. They want to know what's wrong, what the choices are and what each one costs. That's how we run every visit.

We show you the cause first
If your lawn has brown patches, we pull back the grass and show you whether it's chinch bugs, a dry irrigation zone or fungus. You see the cause with your own eyes before we suggest a fix.
Options, not a single pitch
Most problems have more than one answer. We lay out the simple fix and the longer-lasting one, tell you what each means for upkeep and let you decide.
Line-item estimates
Your estimate lists the work piece by piece: how much sod, how many yards of mulch, which trees get trimmed. Nothing gets bundled into a vague total.
Your yard is treated like ours
We protect driveways and walkways from equipment, keep debris off your neighbor's lawn and blow off hard surfaces before we leave.
One crew for the whole yard
Because we handle trees, beds, irrigation and lawn, we can plan them together. That means new sod doesn't get crushed by a stump grinder the following week.

How a Job Runs, Start to Finish

Here's what happens after you pick up the phone, so you know what to expect at each step.

    Your written estimate

You get an itemized estimate with the options we discussed. Take your time deciding.

  4. 4

We haul off debris, blow off drives and walkways and tell you how to water or care for anything new, such as fresh sod or young plants.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Is the walkthrough really free?
Yes. We come out, look at your yard with you and give you a free estimate. There's no obligation to book anything afterward.
Do you offer financing for bigger projects?
Yes. You can finance as much as $100,000 and pick a repayment term between 2 and 12 years. There are no prepayment penalties, so paying it down early won't cost you extra. Homeowners often use it for landscape design, hardscape installation or a full sod replacement, and we're happy to go over it during your walkthrough.
Should I lay sod or try to grow grass from seed?
For most yards here, sod is the better choice. St. Augustine, the most common lawn grass in the area, is grown mainly as sod, and seed struggles in summer heat and heavy rain. Sod gives you a finished lawn right away, though it needs steady watering for the first few weeks.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
During the warm, rainy months, most lawns need mowing every week. In the cooler, drier months growth slows, and every other week is often enough. We'll suggest a schedule based on your grass type and how it's growing.
Why are parts of my lawn turning brown?
The usual causes are a sprinkler zone not reaching that area, chinch bugs in sunny spots or fungus after wet weather. Each has a different fix, which is why we check before treating. During the walkthrough we'll show you which one it is.
Do I need to be home when you work?
For the walkthrough, yes, so we can show you what we find and answer questions. For regular lawn care or most installs, you don't need to be there as long as we can reach the yard. We'll let you know what's done when we finish.
Is it safe to cut back my palms before storm season?
Light pruning of dead fronds and seed pods is fine. Cutting off healthy green fronds, sometimes called a hurricane cut, actually weakens the palm. We'll show you which fronds should come off and which should stay.

What Moves the Price of a Landscaping Job

Every yard is different, so we price after we've seen yours. These are the things that make a job cost more or less, so nothing on your estimate comes as a surprise.

After the free walkthrough, you get a written estimate with each item listed. For a bigger project you'd rather pay over time, you can borrow as much as $100,000, choose a term anywhere from 2 to 12 years and pay it off early whenever you like, since there are no prepayment penalties.

Size of the area
Square footage drives the amount of sod, mulch, pavers and labor. A front bed refresh and a full backyard redo are very different jobs.
What's underneath
Old roots, buried rock, leftover landscape fabric or a broken sprinkler line add prep time. We point these out during the walkthrough when we can see them.
Access for equipment
A backyard behind a narrow side gate or a pool cage means more hand work. Open access lets us bring in machines and finish faster.
Materials you choose
Pine straw costs less than rubber or stone, and concrete pavers differ from travertine. We'll tell you how each holds up in heat and heavy rain so you can weigh cost against upkeep.
Tree size and location
A tall oak leaning over your roof takes more rigging and care than a small tree in open lawn. Haul-away and stump grinding are listed separately.
Timing and permits
Some hardscape work or larger tree removals may need a permit or HOA approval. If yours does, we tell you and build that step into the schedule.
